Derrick serves as Director of Radio Operations for Walls Communications, Inc. Derrick, a technical and media relations specialist, is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the Capitol Radio Network, Walls Communications' broadcast radio division. He coordinates the production and distribution of high quality audio products for radio, Internet, CD and web broadcasts. He also manages the scheduling and facilitation of radio media tours.

His client beneficiaries include Shell Oil, the National Urban League, Hewlett Packard, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the U.S. Army. Prior to joining Walls in 1997, Derrick interned with several Washington, DC broadcast organizations including WPGC-FM/AM and MSNBC. In his life outside of Walls Communications, Inc., Derrick provided leadership to the Capital Press Club as president and led the Audio/Visual efforts of Metropolitan Baptist Church as Director of the Multi-media Ministry.
